Here's what I'm going to do this time... In your comment, please tell me a Stampin' Up! color combination that you've wanted to use but have had trouble with. Then, once I draw the winner, I will create a card using that combination!
I will do the drawing after I return from convention - so be watching for the results on Monday, August 4th! ...and then you'll have to give me a little bit of time to create the card!
I look forward to hearing your combinations - and thanks so much for being a loyal reader of The Stamp Link!
Congrats on the 100,000th hit!!
ReplyDeleteI have trouble using reds and greens together without having it look Christmas-y, you know?!
Orange...I just have trouble using orange!

ReplyDeleteI really have trouble using purples-any shade.
Pinks and greens together! My favorite colors, but they never look quite right when I try to put them together in a card!
ReplyDeleteShaunda
I have a hard time incorporating Apricot Appeal or Orchid Opulence in anything. I guess because they are not my favorits. Congratulations on the 100,000 hits.
ReplyDeleteI'm still having a hard time with Tangerine Tango. Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I think I have problems with the super bright colors like yoyo yellow.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100,000 Hits and WOW, I was so excited for you to see your card featured on the Stampers Showcase!

Wow! Congrats on all those hits! That's fantastic! :D Hmmm...a tough color combo that I like. I have a tough time using yo-yo yellow on a card in general! I can not find anything that I like it with! Haha!
ReplyDeleteOrchid Opulence! I have lots of trouble combining it with other colors...and I like it!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100,000 hits! I would love to win this awesome blog candy! Purples seem to be the hardest for me to use.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love your blog! You are so inspirational. It's like a breath of fresh air to see your beautiful cards. I would have to say I have trouble with Red. It's so strong to me. It always says Christmas, but I see cards people make that are beautiful with red.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Wow!!! 100,000 is amazing!! The color that I like that I have trouble using is cameo coral!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Michele!!
Janet
WOW - congrats on all the hits! I have trouble with the darker colors in the Rich Regals color family. I like the birght and cheery colors so much better that the darker ones hardly get used. I would love to see what you could do with them.
ReplyDelete- Mandy

Any color combo with Glorious Green.
ReplyDeleteHum.....I had to really think about this one. I know a color I have not used in along time is garden green. There are so many other great greens that it seems to just be left in its paper folder and not used. So.....Garden green will have to be my choice. Now congrats on your hits.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the hits! Great blog candy
ReplyDeleteNot that I have had trouble, but like Real Red, Very Vanilla and Bashful Blue, sounds strange, but can be interesting....
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win!
Lori
More Mustard is the hardest color for me!!! I just can't seem to make it look good.
ReplyDeleteMichele: Congrats on 100,000 hits! I know you get a new one from me everyday! I'm a relatively new demo, and your blog gives me alot of inspiration, so thank you! Wow, 100,000 hits. You really do impress me. I love your work and am so glad I came across your blog. You've been such an inspiration and I look forward to getting your updates - in anticipation. :) I have troubles with using anything with Bordering Blue (so that it doesn't look dull and drab). Ciao Michele,se ho capito bene dalla mia traduzione ,chiedi dei colori?Il mio preferito è il VERDE dal più scuro al più chiaro.
ReplyDeleteCiao
Congratulations! Love your blog. The blog candy is awesome - I would love that set!! I am mostly a bold brights girl and I have trouble using some Earth Elements like garden green, cameo coral and really rust. I like that stand out factor in cards and those colors just don't pop for me. Help. Now, that's a challenge - those colors together! LOL. I also have a hard time with Soft Subtles - if I use only colors from that family they all look like baby cards! Too cutesey! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteDorothy
WOW that's a lot of hits!!! Congrats!!! I have trouble with the bright yellows. They go good with black but what else.
ReplyDeleteSharon
Lets see. My hardest would have to be yellows and blues.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the hits.
This may sound strange but I have difficulty using blue bayou. I love the color but don't know what goes with it well. whenever I use it, it just doesn't look quite right.

I always have a hard time using Taken with Teal - it looks so dated to me. Lavender Lace, too. I don't think even you could combine those 2!
ReplyDeleteWay to GO!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a really hard time using the colors in the bold brights family.
Congrats on such a successful blog! I love your site and visit it daily. I too, have a hard time with Yo-Yo yellow, with the exception of using it for the Tart and Tangy set. Looking forward to your blog candy sample!
ReplyDeleteI tried more mustard, real red, and chocolate chip one time and wasn't completely sold on those colors together. Congrats on the blog milestone!
ReplyDeleteI love Soft Sky and Purely Pomegranate, but I don't know how to use them together without the dark pomegranate color kind of "overpowering" the card!
ReplyDelete--twinstimestwo

Wow, look at the pretties! I used to live in Allen, TX! I'm an Allen Eagle class of 2001. I lived there when it was just two stops signs at mcdermott and 75...boy have times changed.
ReplyDeleteI have had problems with Really Rust. It's not pink or red and I just don't know what to mix it with. I have some paper and the marker...I haven't bought the ink pad yet...
Congrats on all your hits! I seem to have trouble using yellows like yo-yo yellow or summer sun, I never know what colors to use with them.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the hits!!!! I can only hope my blog gets that close.... one day!!!! My biggest problem comes when I try to use the darker colors like Not Quite Navy and Always Artichoke. I just feel it is really dark and gloomy. I find that I usually stick to the brighter colors instead. I hope you had a blast at convention!!! I'm hoping to go next year!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100,00 hits! I've added hundreds to this number. I just LOVE your blog! It gives me such inspiration and ideas. LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteGlorious Green and Yo-Yo Yellow are the colors I can't seem to find harmony with. Can you give my any suggestions?
I hope you enjoyed the convention. I can't wait to see the new catalog!
I have the "creative liscense" Simply Scrappin kit with Pumkin pie, Wild wasabi and blue bayou... I see them in the kit... I know they go together, but my brain cannot imagine anything I will want to keep! I am sure I will make a cute boy page for an album, but it is just too boy for me! I need to get my head around it though, I have two boys for pete's sake!!!
ReplyDeleteWow...100K...good for you! How about Ballet Blue? I like it with Pumpkin Pie but not much else (save maybe other shades of blue!). Cheers!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100,000 hits. HUGE!!!
ReplyDeleteYELLOW!!! I do struggle with YELLOW!!!
Hope you had a great time at convention.

ReplyDeletekim3timemom@yahoo dot com
I've never used Old Olive or Always Artichoke...greens just don't naturally attract me. Congrats on such a great blog and lots of fans!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great time at convention. I was drooling over the time everyone was having.

Linda Peterson
Hope you haven't picked a winner yet--I've been gone all week on vacation. hope you had a great time at convention!! I can't wait to hear all about it! My problem is using something bright like yo yo yellow or something purple like orchid opulance.
ReplyDeleteCongrats - 100,000 hits WOW... I would love to see what you can do with the new in colors.
ReplyDeleteMichele, Congrats on your 100,000th hit!! Woo - Hoo!! Hope you had fun at convention. Stampin'andrea kept sending pics on SCS of some of the new sets and items and such, awesome! I am sure you will also have plenty of stories to share with us, lol....

Have a sparkling Day!
Pamela Vega - pmlvg@yahoo.com
Congratulations on 100,000 hits! What a milestone!
ReplyDeleteThe Stampin' Up color combination I'd love to try but just doesn't seem to work for me is Old Olive with Mellow Moss.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site!
ReplyDeleteThe color wheel shows that orchid should look great with hunter, rose red, brilliant blue, and yo yo yellow...seriously? How's that supposed to look good?
I can't make Yo Yo Yellow work with anything!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle, I'm glad you made it to convention. I didn't this year; hope to next year. As for the colors I have trouble using. I have thought about this and agree with some that yoyo yellow is so bright. I seem to get stuck using blues and pinks more than anyhting. I also have trouble using the plums. So there you go. Congrats on hitting your milestone. Linda Gray
ReplyDeleteI would have to say More Mustard. Just can't seem to get that one to work. Congrats on the 100,000 hits and glad you had a good time at convention.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100,000 hits. Love visiting your blog. I have a hard time using purples.
ReplyDeleteHi Michele! I love your blog and I agree ... it really shouldn't take Blog Candy to draw readers out! I'm going to try harder to leave random messages - hope others will do the same as it benefits everyone to hear positive comments :o) I don't really have a color combination that I've struggled with - I find so many great resources to help me out (like our SU! demo site, SCS and the SU! color wheel but I would love to see more combo's using the new colors as I'm anticipating it will take me a few months to get comfy with them :o) Take Care Michele - Lisa Burns (www.lisaburns.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I rarely comment on the many blogs I am subscribed to, I do appreciate the ideas and inspirations you share. Congrats on 100K hits!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100,000 hits ! Oranges are the colors I have trouble with !
