Congratulations!

I will start by admitting that this card came straight from the beautiful imagination of my dear friend, Marelle Taylor. She's amazing and I love to sponge ideas from her... thanks for this one, Marelle! I didn't have the time to come up with a card for my nephew and his wife for their new pregnancy, but I felt that this one was elegant and just lovely!

This gorgeous card uses the new Floral Phrases stamp set bundled with the Detailed Floral Thinlits Die (pg 76-77 of the new catalog). The colors here are Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla, with the sentiment in Early Espresso. I also added a few pearls and a Very Vanilla ribbon.

Happy Stamping!

Fresh Fruit

I have been playing with some new things and having so much fun! This one is Fresh Fruit... I like the black outline, but you don't have to use it if you prefer a softer look.

And because I felt that these juicy strawberries needed a bit of sparkle, I added some Wink of Stella!

Sitting Here

My sweet daddy just had his knee replaced a week ago and I wanted to send him something to let him know I'm thinking about him... the new Sitting Here stamp set was just the one! (it may be a little feminine for some guys, but my dad will still like it... or he'll just give it to my mom...!)

I fussy-cut the pillows as well as the pup... again, I don't do much fussy-cutting, but these were easy (especially the pillows). Here's the inside:

Here's to my Pop feeling right as rain real soon!!

Marquee Messages

I finally placed my first order from the new catalog and I took some time to play with my favorite set... Marquee Messages! Here's what I made:

Colors above: Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight
Colors below: Emerald Envy and Wisteria Wonder

To get the vibrant color, I stamped on colored cardstock and then cut those pieces out. I don't do a lot of "fussy-cutting," but these pieces were easy. Give it a try!

Happy Stamping!
