It has been my intention to add my retired sets to my For Sale page, complete with photographs and everything, but it just isn't getting done. So I thought I'd at least list them for you here and see if anyone was interested. All of the following are from the Spring Summer 2008 Idea Book & Catalog, but I can send photos upon request if you need me to. If you see something you like, drop me a line and ask if it is still available. Sizzix Big Shot...It's a Big Deal!

I promise I will get back to stamping very soon - there is just so much that I feel obligated to tell you about! I sent out my latest Stamp Link Newsletter on Monday, and I discussed the exciting new Big Shot that we will soon carry. But here's what I didn't include (sorry)! What's Up With the Online Catalog?

Many of you may have already realized this, but the online catalog does not look like it used to. In order to view it, you have to download a large .pdf file and that can take a bit of time - especialy since there are so many people trying to do it right now! But this is only temporary... read this statement made to us today by Stampin' Up! (and take heed to the recommendation in bold):

"...the new Online Ordering system will take the place of the online catalog you're used to seeing. During the interim period between the release of the Fall-Winter 2008 Idea Book & Catalog and the release of Online Ordering, the online catalog has been replaced with a PDF version that can be downloaded and viewed. This is a temporary solution that allows online access to the catalog until Online Ordering is available.

We are working to decrease the document's download time on our end, but because of file size and significant download traffic, it may take some time to download. When you do download the document, make sure to save it to your hard drive so that you do not have to download it again.

Thanks for your patience as we work to bring you a fantastic new Online Ordering system!"

This is just a quick post to let a couple of you know that I have been trying to respond to your e-mail messages to answer your various questions, and because the conversation gets left hanging at that point, I'm wondering if my messages got directed into your Spam folders. Darlene... Amy... I have been trying to reach you in response to your inquiries! Check your Spam/Junk folders. If that doesn't work, you can e-mail me your phone number and I'd be happy to give you a personal call.

This goes for anyone... I am extremely diligent about responding to e-mail, and I usually do it within a couple hours or less. If you have ever sent me an e-mail where you expected a reply and didn't receive one, please try checking Spam/Junk. If I'm not in there, send me another e-mail indicating that you haven't heard from me... and consider leaving your phone number. I WILL get in touch with you!! Happy Birthday from Jennifer!

I only have a couple more days with our friends from Scotland... *sob* We've had so much fun and I'm not ready for it to end. Just 5 years ago TODAY, Audrey and I met... (ONLINE, remember?!) and look at us now! If it weren't for that big ocean between us, we'd be inseperable.

Now for another card I received - and LOOK! It's another blue and red one! That may just be my new favorite color combo! This one comes from Jennifer Greeley and you can view more of her fabulous work by checking out her blog!

For this card, Jennifer used the For a Friend hostess stamp set and the Sprinkles stamp set. The colors are Ruby Red, Soft Sky, and River Rock, along with some Western Sky DSP. Some Whisper White narrow grosgrain ribbon finishes it off. I just love it!! Thank you so much, Jennifer!!

Now for some business items I've been neglecting... as you've already discovered, I did not send out a July 1st Stamp Link Newsletter. When our guests depart, I will get to work on that. But here are some things to keep in mind:

Current Ribbon Share: My July Ribbon Share is the other 8 colors of Narrow Grosgrain ribbon (we did the first 8 in June). So July includes Basic Black, Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Pretty in Pink, Bravo Burgundy, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, and Mellow Moss. The share includes 3 yards of each color for a total of $12.00. If you are interested in joining the share this month, please send me an e-mail and I will send you an invoice. I need those requests no later than July 20th!

Catalog Retirement Sales Event: I promised you a sale, and it's getting closer! Remember the dates of my sale will be from July 15th through the 24th. The structure of it will be very similar (but maybe a little better!!) to the sale I held last year, and you can read those details in this post. Happy July to everyone! I know that because it's the 1st of July, I would normally have three new Stamp-a-Stack cards for you... but I have decided (with great reluctance) that I will not be holding a Stamp-a-Stack in July. Not only do I have houseguests for the next two weeks, but then I have a cousin and his family coming to stay for a night, and then I have my sister-in-law and her family, as well as my mother-in-law (who's coming to watch the kids for me while I attend the Stampin' Up! convention later this month!). So, all of this means that I will only have one week with just my own family in the house during this entire month! I love it, don't get me wrong!! But trying to plan and hold a Stamp-a-Stack, let alone designing the cards, is just not going to be possible this month.

BUT... I've also decided that instead of the Stamp-a-Stack, I will be holding another Catalog Retirement Sale this month! I did this last year - see this post to read the details from that event. I will do something similar this time, and I'll be sharing those details in the next few days. What I can tell you right now is that I will hold this event from July 15 - July 24 (the time in which I will not have houseguests!), so stay tuned!

I wanted to mention that I have been going back through all of my former posts and labeling them... don't know why I didn't do that from the beginning... it's made for a long, tedious task trying to backtrack! In any case, now you can scroll down the left sidebar to find all of my categories... things like Altoid Tins, Watercoloring, Holidays, Masculine, Gift Ideas, etc. Just click on one and it will show you all of my posts in those particular areas. I still haven't finished labeling them all, but I'm about 75% done. I hope this helps you find more specific things you're looking for while browsing through my blog!
