Sleepover Invitation

My oldest son turned 11 this week, and we scheduled a sleepover for tomorrow night with some of his friends... but with Hurricane Ike scheduled to pass over us about that time, it may have to be postponed. But here are the sleepover invitations I made for it:

This was a fun way to use the bear from Under the Stars - he's certainly fun to watercolor, but as you can see, he also looks great just stamped in Chocolate Chip! I did use a couple of retired items for this card - that Chocoloate Chip Twill ribbon is no longer current (and I was sad that it didn't make it into the big catalog), as well as the Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware.

The little sleeping bag from this stamp set was perfect to go on the inside, and I left enough blank space so I could write in the details.

If you are here in Texas and in the path of Hurricane Ike, please be safe. And hug your family for me!

Invitation Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Under the Stars, Family Phrases
Ink: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Confetti White, Close to Cocoa, More Mustard
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Twill ribbon (retired), Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware (retired)
