Blog Candy Bribe!!

Doggone it... I messed up. I got my latest cards photographed and edited before I left town, as I was planning on posting a couple of times when I could. But guess what I forgot to do... I didn't upload them here to Blogger. Drat!! They're back at home on my laptop and I have no way of getting to them until I return on Easter Sunday. I am SOOOOOOOO sorry! I just HATE to leave you all hanging for that long without a new post. I considered having the house-sitters e-mail them to me, but that would involve divulging my passwords and I don't want to do that.

Hmmm... what can I do to make it up to you? I know! Besides posting the Easter cards immediately upon my return, I'll also do some blog candy that week. And here's a twist... I'm going to take comments for it NOW, even before I show you what it is! (I don't even know what it will be yet, but I promise to pick out something really good!)

Here's what you need to do: Post a comment with any question you'd like to know about me or my Stampin' Up! business. Be sure to leave your e-mail address unless your name is a hot link - I want to be able to contact you with the answers. I will try to answer all questions, and I will choose a random number on Tuesday, March 25th, as the winner.

So, mark your calendars to come back to visit me the evening of Easter Sunday, which is when I will show you the new cards, and then I'll pick out some fabulous blog candy to send to some lucky recipient!

Well, I guess my goof-up means I am forced to take this week as a vacation. So this is Michele Force, signing off...

Hello Michele,
So glad your taking the time to enjoy family and fellowship. I enjoy your blog and always look forward to your helpful ideas.
Do you find that offering Stamp-Kits via mail to be a positive approach to helping customers?

What do you think about the stamps possibly being offered as individuals and as sets? this rumor has been going around a while. I often find myself liking one stamp of a 4 stamp set and hate spending for a set unless I know I will use the majority of them in the set.

Have fun with your family! You know, we would have forgiven you without the blog candy! :D I am not complaining though. Hehe! Anyway, I do have a question fro you. How do you go about finding customers? I think it would be really hard for me to find someone and I, as sad as it is, have not made very many friends in my new town! Thanks so much!

Do you wish Stampin' Up would go totally to die cut stamps?

Jackie said...

How about 2 questions:

What do you like best about being a demo?

What would you like to see Stampin' Up do differently?

I agree with Jan, I'd like to see them offer the option of buying the stamps individually and for the same reason she mentioned.

Hi Michele! Are you going to convention? I'd love to be able to meet you if you are. Have a wonderful Easter! ~Jackie

You know, we would not have gotten TOO mad at you without the blog candy! But heck, I love blog candy so I'm not complaining a bit. I do have a question for you....I love Stampin Up stamps but I have unmounted most of them due to lack of storage. Do you think they will ever give us a choice to buy unmounted or mounted. It would also lower the price a bit I would think. Here's another question (I guess that would make #2) Do you think sales will be affected or have been affected by the different stamp companies popping up such as Papertrey, MFT, Gina K, Bella's & Hanna's? I still love SU.

Hi Michele,
Sounds like a nice long trip.
What is your favorite color combo in Stampin up? I always seem to use the same color family.

Have a great time away from the blog. :O)

What's your absolute favorite Stampin' Up! product? One that you can't get anywhere else, and you wouldn't even look!

Hi Michele,
My question is what is your favorite stamp set current or retired? Enjoy your vacation.

Hi Michelle. What a lovely blog you have. I love your designs.

My question is, do you find blogging to be an effective way of improving your SU business.

Hi Michele!

My questions is don't you wish that the In Colors would stick around longer than a year?

Cathy M said...

Count me in on your sweet mystery candy! I would love to know if SU will ever offer a group of stamps that you could choose which ones you wanted to make up a set? I think that would be pretty cool.
Thanks for a chance and have a great Easter.

Michele,
I "stumbled" on to your blog after viewing one of your cards at SCS in January. I'm now signed up for your updates. I love all your cards.
I hadn't been stamping much in the recent year, but after viewing your cards and blog I'm back into it.
Thanks for the inspiration.

I can hardly wait tto see what you will come up with. My question: Do you look up and use any of the wizzards or templates that SU gives in any of your creations?

Hmmmmm..... Well first off - - Have a great time with your family!!! Now for the question.... What type of classes or camps do you offer your customers and do you prefer offering scheduled classes/camps or doing home workshops??

Thanks!!!

Enjoy your vacation! I'm new to your blog but admire your work. I've often toyed with the idea of being a demo but.. Can you really make any money? I know I'd love getting the products but need at least a little income.
Ok, there's my blunt question!

Hey Michele!
Glad you are spending time wth family. I hope you have a nice Easter. Here's my question: Did you every buy a stamp set thinking you would love it and then get it home and can't make it work for you? That has happened to me a few times. Even Splitcoast samples didn't help. They were usually impulse buys!
Thanks for the chance to win!

You deserve a great vacation and take time off!!!! My questions is how do you think up such great ideas? It seems to come so natural to you. I have to have something to look at to give me ideas. I'm not creative at all when it comes to thinking up my own ideas. Have fun!!!

Do you find the economy affecting your business? How often do you hold classes/workshops/parties? How many customers attend your events? And how many downline do you have in your area? Is Stampin Up a company where you have to have a considerable downline to make any real money? I would also love to see your answers to the questions others have asked! :) Love your cards -- I stalk your blog regularly!

Hi Michele! I hope you are enjoying your family time. I really enjoy visiting your blog every day. You really do have some cute cards and ideas to share with us! Thanks! My question is, What ribbon are you going to be doing for your next ribbon share? I just got my grosgrain sampler yesterday and love it! And I really like the double stitched In Color ribbon from your previous share. It's a really great way to get some nice ribbon without having to pay a fortune! Also, any ideas as to what the new In Colors will be? I'm trying to get excited about them, because I'll miss the current ones when they're gone.

Hello! I have a question about your Stampin Up business: what is the WORST part about it?? I ask this only because I used to be a Mary Kay consultant and I lost a lot of money because we had to have a huge inventory. Thanks!

Hi Michele,
Yay for family vacations! I guess your boys are having their Easter vacation this week. Ours is next week and we too are looking forward to getting away for a few days. Enjoy that special time with our precious family. Speaking of family, I'm sure you keep very busy with 3 boys, so when do you get to stamp? Your cards are all so beautiful!

Hi Michele! Hope the rain stopped so you could continue your family camping trip. Why does SU only offer a few die cut stamp sets? Do you think they will offer all their sets this way?

Hi Michele,
I would like more info on embossing, and using the heating too. I have seen some beautiful cards made with it, but I'm really unsure how to use it. Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. Have a great time camping...we need to be doing that too!

I hope you get to enjoy your vacation and the rain goes away. I was wondering as a demo, how do you select which stamp sets you are doing to order?

Have a blessed Easter. Darlene

Hi Michele,
I'm so glad I found your blog over at SCS.
I love the paper from SU. What's your favorite paper?

Hi Michele... I enjoy looking at all your beautiful creations, & my question is, how do you find time to do so much stamping? I often find that I waste alot of time just staring at my supplies waiting for inspiration to strike, & then I end up making just one card at a time!

Don't feel guilty at all, I'm sure everyone would want you to relax and just enjoy your holiday weekend away. No worries.

1. Do you think SU will ever bring out clear stamps? I'm loving them for ease of placement more than I ever imagined! Own alot of SU wood stamps lol.

2. Am debating buying in the US through a friend, still so much cheaper even though the dollar has changed alot. Very expensive here.

Thanks, relax and have fun!! ;) Happy Easter. bluemoonbynite at yahoo dot com

I have two questions, if i may =) firstly can i buy US products from australia if they are things that are not sold here? second question is more general, do you have any tips for someone who is considering joining SU as a demonstrator (particular if they dont know that many stampers and are worried about minimum sales)?

cheers!

Hi Michelle,

I love your blog. Thanks so much for all the inpiration!

I'd like to ask if this competition is open to those outside the US..I'm in Australia.

All the best,
Sam.

Hi Michele, thanks for posting my picture, it looks so nice on your site, hehehe
I haven't been a Demo for long so I don't know my way around stamps too much. I placed 3 of my Pun Fun stamps on crooked, can I take the stamp back off and reposition it or will my stamp not stick after that?

Natasha said...

My goodness, you seem to travel a lot! Good for you!

My question is:
Do you use products other than Stampin' Up? (I have found some acrylic stamps that I LOVE.) Do you think SU will ever go to the acrylic side?

Anonymous said...

I'm just getting in to stamping and finding it a rather expensive hobby to of chose! I'd like to know if SU couldn't , possibly make smaller sets or individual stamps to make it more affordable for some of us.

Thanks for the chance.
