100,000 Hits?!

I can't believe I'm approaching 100,000 hits! Wow!! I think that calls for some Blog Candy!

You know the drill... you'll have to leave a comment to be included in the drawing!

Here's what I'm going to do this time... In your comment, please tell me a Stampin' Up! color combination that you've wanted to use but have had trouble with. Then, once I draw the winner, I will create a card using that combination!

I will do the drawing after I return from convention - so be watching for the results on Monday, August 4th! ...and then you'll have to give me a little bit of time to create the card!

I look forward to hearing your combinations - and thanks so much for being a loyal reader of The Stamp Link!

First of all, I love your blog! You are so inspirational. It's like a breath of fresh air to see your beautiful cards. I would have to say I have trouble with Red. It's so strong to me. It always says Christmas, but I see cards people make that are beautiful with red.
Thanks!!

WOW - congrats on all the hits! I have trouble with the darker colors in the Rich Regals color family. I like the birght and cheery colors so much better that the darker ones hardly get used. I would love to see what you could do with them.

Congrats on 100.000 hits, Michelle! Thats awesome. Masculine color combos are hard for me. What about this one: Chocolate Chip, Apricot Appeal, and Bordering Blue. Good luck with that one!

Hum.....I had to really think about this one. I know a color I have not used in along time is garden green. There are so many other great greens that it seems to just be left in its paper folder and not used. So.....Garden green will have to be my choice. Now congrats on your hits.

Congratulations! Love your blog. The blog candy is awesome - I would love that set!! I am mostly a bold brights girl and I have trouble using some Earth Elements like garden green, cameo coral and really rust. I like that stand out factor in cards and those colors just don't pop for me. Help. Now, that's a challenge - those colors together! LOL. I also have a hard time with Soft Subtles - if I use only colors from that family they all look like baby cards! Too cutesey! Thanks for the chance to win!

I have the "creative liscense" Simply Scrappin kit with Pumkin pie, Wild wasabi and blue bayou... I see them in the kit... I know they go together, but my brain cannot imagine anything I will want to keep! I am sure I will make a cute boy page for an album, but it is just too boy for me! I need to get my head around it though, I have two boys for pete's sake!!!

Hi Michelle, I'm glad you made it to convention. I didn't this year; hope to next year. As for the colors I have trouble using. I have thought about this and agree with some that yoyo yellow is so bright. I seem to get stuck using blues and pinks more than anyhting. I also have trouble using the plums. So there you go. Congrats on hitting your milestone. Linda Gray

Hi Michele! I love your blog and I agree ... it really shouldn't take Blog Candy to draw readers out! I'm going to try harder to leave random messages - hope others will do the same as it benefits everyone to hear positive comments :o) I don't really have a color combination that I've struggled with - I find so many great resources to help me out (like our SU! demo site, SCS and the SU! color wheel but I would love to see more combo's using the new colors as I'm anticipating it will take me a few months to get comfy with them :o) Take Care Michele - Lisa Burns (www.lisaburns.blogspot.com)
