January Stamp-a-Stack Details

Happy New Year! And with the new year comes a new format for my Stamp-a-Stack classes... so read up (even if you are not local)!

At the beginning of each month I will post the cards that we will be making at the Stamp-a-Stamp classes for that month. I will have at least 2 dates available for you to come and make these cards (4 each, for a total of 12 cards) and if the demand is high (meaning you'll have to let me know you'd like to come but can't), I can add a 3rd date. All supplies (cardstock, ribbon, embellishments such as brads and/or eyelets, and clear envelopes) will be provided, but please bring your own adhesive. The cost will remain the same as it's been - $10 with a $15 minimum order, or $20 without an order. Add $3 if you need to use my adhesive, and while supplies last, you can purchase paper envelopes for 25 cents each (which you can then stamp to match the card).

The dates for my January Stamp-a-Stack classes are Monday the 14th (7-9pm) and Saturday the 26th (10-noon).

*NEW* For those of you who are not local (or those who are local but can't make the posted dates), I will now offer a Mail-a-Stack option! I will mail you a packet of all consumable supplies (minus adhesive) along with written instructions so that you can make the 12 cards at home using your stamps, ink, and tools. All cardstock will be pre-cut and scored - and some elements can even be pre-punched if you give me advance notice that you need that done. The cost for the Mail-a-Stack option is $15, which includes postage. Of course, if you need to order any of the supplies used in the projects (which I've listed under each photo below), I can do that for you and have them delivered directly to your home.

So... with all that said, here are the cards for January!

Remember that the sentiments are easily interchangable. For instance, if you do not wish to make sympathy cards, you can substitute a birthday sentiment (or a thank you, or a get well, etc...) or make a combination that suits your needs. Here's a closer look at each card along with the supplies used:

This sympathy card uses the Close as a Memory stamp set and the Watercolor Vine jumbo wheel (with a jumbo handle). For inks, I used the Brocade Blue and Old Olive markers, along with the Bordering Blue and Night of Navy ink pads. I also used the Crop-a-Dile to set the eyelets. The January Mail-a-Stack packet will include enough of the following to make 4 cards: Bordering Blue, Night of Navy, and Naturals Ivory cardstock, Ivory Tafetta ribbon, and Navy eyelets.

This birthday card uses a flower stamp from Ginormous Flowers, and a sentiment from Hugs & Wishes. For inks, I used the Soft Sky and Old Olive ink pads. I also used the 5-Petal Flower punch. The January Mail-a-Stack packet will include enough of the following to make 4 cards: Kraft, Soft Sky, Naturals Ivory and Old Olive cardstock, Fall Flowers DSP, Old Olive ribbon, and Olive brads. If you let me know in advance, I can pre-punch the flowers and leaves for you.

This valentine card uses the new Happy Heart Day set (available starting January 2nd). For inks, I used the Regal Rose marker along with the Basic Black and Regal Rose ink pads. Other tools used include both Tag punches, the corner rounder punch (for the scallop), and the 1/16" handheld punch. The January Mail-a-Stack packet will include enough of the following to make 4 cards: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Regal Rose cardstock, and Black Gingham ribbon. If you let me know in advance, I can pre-punch the tags and/or scallop the Rose strip for you.

I look forward to seeing you often in the coming months! And as always, please let me know how I can help you with your stamping needs.

Great cards Michele! I need to plan a stamp-a-stack also ... I like your idea of making multiple cards of fewer designs - I've always done 10-12 different cards ... that's a ton of prep!!
TFS and happy stamping!
