Would You Like to Have This Mailbox??

I love this Happy Heart Day stamp set... oh wait, have I told you that already?! Here is another mailbox I made, featuring the adorable little elephant. And to find out how it can be YOURS... keep reading!

The ribbon on this mailbox comes from the Fairy Tale Ribbon Originals, with some Tempting Turquoise grosgrainto line the edges and Certainly Celery grosgrain for the tag.

I colored the elephant with an Aquapainter and the Going Gray ink pad lid. The rest of the image was colored with Stampin' Write markers. I used a glue pen and the Dazzling Diamonds glitter on her toenails and the heart in her trunk.

To line the mailbox, I used my current favorite Designer Series Paper called Flowers For You, along with the Ginormous Flowers stamp set paired with the 5-Petal Flower punch and some matching buttons. The flower colors are Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, and Tempting Turquoise - LOVE this combination! I really am on a fettish right now for these colors... you'll be seeing more of them in the coming days.

Now... for the exciting part! Would YOU like to own this mailbox? You can! In celebration of my blog hitting 20,000 hits (WOW!), I am giving it away as BLOG CANDY! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me what you like the most about my blog. Like anyone, I love good compliments, but my intentions are really to find out what you want to see MORE of! This Friday, January 18th, at noon I will choose a random number and I will post the winner that afternoon.

Good luck and thanks for visiting!

Hi Michele-
This is my first time visiting your blog. I clicked on your mailbox pic on SCS and found your blog. I really like your style. I especially like the variety of projects--cards and 3-D. You've already given me lots of inspriation. Now where did I put those mailboxes I bought last year...?

I guess I'm out on this one as I am in the UK!!
Pity, it is a gorgeous mailbox.

I love your website. I am really going to start stamping. As I was watching the Cowboys game last night, I decided to stamp my son's birthday card. My husband said that is nice but what about the ones that you have made in the past. I told him I don't have the supplies for it all. By reading your blogs, you inspire me to be creative and learn how to stamp. I am not the creative type. Keep up the good blogging.

Hi Michele~
Love your blog! It's one of the few I read everyday. I know watercoloring is a "do it more and you'll get better" thing, but can you do a simple tutorial on getting started? Your watercoloring is awesome! Thanx

I love your blog. Your cards are great! The best thing about your blog is how easy you make to read how you did your projects and cards! I love the bold text for tools and products... it makes it so easy to know what you used and how!!!!!!

I love your blogs. I do prefer the cards, but your other projects inspire me and teach me that stamping shouldn't just be limited to cards. I can also learn new color combos and techniques (dry embossing?) from your cards and your mailboxes and tins. I've also learned that I can use my wide scrap ribbon after all.

I love the quality of your photos - so clear! Your cards are just my style & I really like the tutorials I have seen. You have a great blog - I'd say just keep up the good work!

Hi !

I'm new to your blog! I'm exploring all of it and having a delightful time!

I'm trying to learn how to stamp and I've been reading blogs trying to decide how to do it !..and what the most essential supplies are to start with.

I love to send cards "just because" and that's one of the reasons I want to learn and so many of them are just so stinkin' cute!

Thanks for the chance, the mailbox is adorable..love the little elephant and the colors you used as well.

I'll be back :)

The things I love most about your blog are:
*clear and easy-to-follow ideas
*practical ideas for things I would actually do or use
*awesome photos
I have several paper craft blogs in my list of favorites, but yours is one that I go to almost every day. If I haven't visited that day, it's because I haven't been on the computer! LOL
Oh and another reason I love your blog is because I love Stampin' Up. Just got into Stampin' Up about a year ago and it has become quite the addiction! Thanks for the great ideas and the chance to win one of your awesome creations! =]

What I like best are your cards but I also like that is a nice clean looking presentation, not hard to read like some "black" blogs are. Everything is in order and easy to find.

I follow your blog along with several others. I'm particularly drawn to you because you are in TEXAS!! Okay, so I love all your projects too. I'm particularly intrigued by your offer to send Stamp A Stack supplies to individuals who are not able to attend your workshops. Oh, and that little travel altoid tin. To die for.

I just love everything you do and appreciate all the inspiration I get from your blog.

Thank you.

As a deaf stamper, your blog is just perfect as I never feel like I "cant do it" due to ignorance or not being creative enough. I would love it if you could add onto your blogs tutorials where to buy items and maybe offer to sell some of your work to help jumpstart others. I have bought a few items from other stampers as I am so visual and like to have it in my hands to better understand some of the complex projects. Thank you for sharing your creations with us and for opening up your blogs where anyone can look up your tutorials whether deaf or hearing.

Sherri said...

I love how you often explain how you made something - like you did with the mailbox...and not so long ago with the altoids tins!

I just can't get enough! I'm biased, since I know you personally, but I love your designs and I am always amazed at your endless creativity. Each card is beautiful and unique -- I could just sit and stare at them all day. And your blog is lovely, too. Heck -- even your watermark is artistic!
