One of a Kind

Thank you all so much for your suggestions on my previous post. I will see if I can't make some improvements and post it again in the future.

Today is a dear friend's birthday... I will keep it anonymous because I don't know if she'd like me blabbing it all over the world! If she wants it known, I'm sure she'll reveal her identity in a comment. But in any case, here is the card I made for her... gosh, I sure do hope it arrived in the mail before she sees this post!

This was my first time using the fantastic new Flower Fusion felt flowers, and oh, what a statement they make! I paired them up with the One of a Kind stamp set and made one flower stand out with different colors and an olive Rhinestone brad so it would "fit" with the sentiment! The base cardstock is Apricot Appeal with a layer of Old Olive and then the Apricot Appeal DSP from the Hostess Level 1 Prints Pack (that pack is going to get a LOT of use in this house!). I sponged the edges of the Apricot paper with the same color ink, and the sentiment is stamped in Old Olive. Those Pumpkin Pie flowers each have an Old Olive brad in the center of them.

Happy, Happy Birthday, [dear friend]!!
