Garden Whimsy

I pulled out another new set last night - Garden Whimsy! I also pulled out some new 5/8" inch grossgrain ribbon, which makes an elegant knot. The colors here are Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Ruby Red, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White. I used the markers to color the rubber on the tulip stamp so I could get the two different colors. When you do this, just remember to "huff" (breathe like you're fogging up a window) on the rubber before you stamp. This re-moistens the ink. The green tab was made from the Word Window punch, folded in half, and then secured with an antique brad. The edges of the Kraft background are sponged with Close to Cocoa ink. To make the knot, I cut a piece of ribbon a little wider than the card, tied a knot, and then secured it around the back of the Kraft with glue dots. The tulip piece is raised above it with dimensionals.

You may have noticed my banner changing around a bit... it's like a motion picture! I'm still playing around with it, so it could change some more. Hope you're enjoying your week...

This is gorgeous! I was trying to make Real Red and Certainly Celery work together the other day, and failed.
The sentiment is so true too...
